Cocoa Milk

Ingredients :

  • 01 Tea spoon of cocoa powder

  • 02 Tea spoons of milk powder / canned milk / condensed milk etc.

  • 02 / 03 Drops of first quality red banana essence.

  • 01 Cup of prepared hot tea / 01 cup of hot milk

Method of preparation

Mix cocoa powder, milk powder and banana essence with a spoon in a tumbler by adding a little bit of hot water then while stirring pour the cup of prepared hot tea into the mixture in the tumbler. sugar only if required or desired.

A cup of cocoa milk prepared without tea (instead of 01 cup of prepared hot tea, 01 cup of hot milk) in the evening promotes and stimulates sleeps.

Spice Tea

Ingredients :

  • 01 Teaspoonful of spice Tea ( composed of cardamom, Ginner, Cinnamon, Coriander, Anise, Cumin Seeds etc. )

  • 02 Cups of boiled water.

  • 02 – 03 drops of natural vanilla essence

Method of preparation

Put 01 Teaspoonful of spice tea into a tumbler and add 02 cups of boiled water, close the tumbler for 02 – 03 minutes and sift the content with a tea sifter, add 02 – 03 drops of vanilla essence and stir. Add sugar if desired or required. The spice tea stimulates the body and medicinally effective against phlegmatic disorders, stomach aliments, influenza, common cold. flatulence etc

Recommended as a drink of prophylactic during the winter

Dish of Meat or Fish Curry (Sri Lankan Curry Recipe)

  • 01 Tablespoonful of brown / green curry powder

  • 01 Onion

  • 04 pips garlic

  • ½ lemon

  • 01 small piece ginger

  • 01 teaspoonful of chili powder

  • A few curry or bay leaves

  • 02 – 03 drops of almond essence ( If required )

  • A pinch of saffron powder

  • 01 small piece cinnamon

  • 03 corns cardamom

  • 01 tea spoon of ……………

  • Small pinch of salt

  • 01 cup of coconut milk / non sweetened condensed milk

  • 500 grams of meat or fish (chopped or sliced )

Method of preparation

Cut onion fine. fry them together with cinnamon, cardamom and curry leaves when the onions are brown, add the finely cut garlic and ginger. Once the garlic is brown, add the rest of ingredients. Cut and washed meat or fish together with 01 tea spoon of vinegar and stir, then add 01 cup of coconut milk. Let it cook on a medium fire till the content is cooked then let it simmer on a slow fire for 15 minutes. If you need a thick sauce, ½ a cup of yoghurt can be added
